This icon is a reproduction of an original glass artwork by "K.Mucha. It represents the biblical scene of the Annunciation by which the archangel Gabriel appears to Mary, the mother of Jesus, to reveal her that she would conceive a child to be born the Son of God. The feast of Annunciation is celebrated on March 25th.
